About Our Classes: Our classes are taught the same way they were taught hundreds of years ago with a deep respect for tradition and with no modern day modifications. The only difference in our class and a class taught in ancient China is our class is taught in English. Mr. Robinson is one of the very few in the Atlanta area who is able to teach the ancient self defense applications that weave its way through the tai chi exercise. To learn self defense applications is not a requirement at our school, but it is an option.
Mr. Robinson maintains a balance within each class. Class is kept fun and light-hearted, but at the same time there is always proper learning. All classes are taught on a ratio of ten students to one instructor in order to give all personal attention. We have students of all ages from their 20's to their 80's. Our students take Tai Chi for a variety of reasons: better health, reduce stress, healing power, self defense skills. We structure our class to fit the student, not the student to fit the class.
